Ive been machine winding pickups for as long as Ive been building custom guitars. I found out early on that I couldn’t find the tone I desired off the shelf and I spent years perfecting my wind recipes for the ultimate tone.
I wind several types of guitar pickups that offer a variety of tones for just about any genre of music. All pickup coils are wound in the DGN Shop on my Bachi Auto-Traverse Coil winder from the 60's. This machine gives me extremely consistent results from set to set to ensure every pickup sounds just as good as the last.
